It takes some effort to identify an NBA team that has enjoyed greater success over the last decade than the Toronto Raptors.Toronto Raptors This remarkable achievement has been orchestrated by team president Masai Ujiri.

When Masai Ujiri was brought on board by then-president of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Tim Leiweke, back in May 2013, it marked a monumental shift in the trajectory of Toronto sports.Ontario sports betting overall.

Under the guidance of standout players like DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, the Raptors experienced multiple playoff appearances.

A pivotal moment came during the summer of 2018 when the franchise acquired superstar Kawhi Leonard, leading to their triumph in the NBA finals the following spring; it was a historic achievement, comparable to Joe Carter's iconic home run which clinched the Blue Jays' second World Series in 1993.

After a challenging season impacted by COVID-19, which saw the team temporarily relocate to Tampa, the Raptors bounced back by securing the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference and many analysts are optimistic they can replicate that success this season.Ontario sports betting apps Ujiri's choice in the 2021 NBA draft to select Scottie Barnes, who was awarded rookie of the year last season, appears to have been an exceptional decision. The franchise has maintained a solid core of players under multi-year contracts, including Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam, who have thrived thanks to an excellent developmental program. They were also prominent in discussions regarding a potential trade for superstar Kevin Durant during the off-season.

Given these achievements and developments, it comes as no surprise that the Raptors rank highly among the most appreciated fanbases in the NBA, according to our assessment.

Raptors Among the Most Loyal NBA Fanbases

Ontario Bets conducted a comprehensive analysis of all 30 NBA franchises over the past 11 seasons.

The first metric - “Minutes Viewed Per Victory” - was derived by calculating each team's total regular season games played from the 2011-12 season to the 2021-22 season, multiplied by the average duration of an NBA game as broadcasted (2 hours, 13 minutes).

After reaching that total, we divided it by the corresponding wins in those seasons to find the average minutes fans watched for each regular season victory over the previous decade.

The next metric - “Points Assigned for Playoff Achievements” - was established to assess the significance of playoff achievements during those ten seasons counted in the first metric. Points were assigned as follows: 1 point for each playoff appearance, 3 points for each playoff series won, 3 points for reaching the NBA Finals, and an added 15 points for winning the NBA Championship.

By summing all points accumulated across every postseason from 2011-12 to 2021-22 and subtracting those from Category 1, we determined the final scores and rankings.

The Raptors achieved fourth place overall: 228 minutes of viewership, minus 50 points for playoff successes, resulting in a total of 178 points.

In first place was the Golden State Warriors with 213 points, minus 143 points for a total score of 70, followed by the Miami Heat with 130 points and the San Antonio Spurs with 149 points.

At the bottom of the ranking was the Orlando Magic, totaling 366 points.
