Strong Performance for theScore Bet in Ontario
As previously reported, the analysis of app downloads for Ontario sports betting right after the regulated market openedon April 4 had theScore Bet on top in downloads.
According toa Morgan Stanley report on May 2 revealed that theScore's share soared to 65% on the launch day but dropped to 17-18% by April 30, according to Sensor Tower data.
In 2020, Penn National acquired Barstool Sports for $450 million. Recently, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy visited Toronto to promote theScore Bet and eating pizza .
Already Focusing on Canada
In early April, theScore Bet entered into a partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays,a 10-year partnership .
marking theScore Bet's official status as the gaming partner for the Jays. This was the first time theScore Bet has sponsored a professional team.
