Revised Betting Insights from Morgan Stanley: theScore Bet's Position is Dwindling

On Tuesday, Morgan Stanley released a refreshedOntario sports betting app download report that utilized Sensor Tower metrics up until the end of April.

According to the analysis,theScore Bet As of April 30, theScore Bet led the way with a download share of 31%, followed by the established operator bet365 (which opened before regulations) at 26%. FanDuel held 16%, BetMGM had 13%, while Betway and PointsBet both accounted for 4%. BetRivers stood at 3%, and Caesars, 888, and LeoVegas each had a 1% share.

The download figures for Penn National Gaming’s theScore Bet reached their maximum on April 4, coinciding with the market launch, hitting 65%, but dropped to a 17/18% share by the end of April.

During the month, BetMGM saw an increase in its market share, beginning at 2% and climbing to 25% in the last three days of April. According to the report, bet365's share rose from 14% on April 4 to consistently achieving 25-30% share afterwards.

FanDuel Sportsbook Ontario FanDuel's market share has remained steady since its introduction, starting at 14% and generally fluctuating between 12-25%. PointsBet has also seen progression, moving from 1-2% early in April to 5% in the recent days.

The market is still waiting onDraftKings Sportsbook Ontario and BetRegal to enter.

Kambi Group Set to Support Fallsview Sportsbook

BetRegal Expands Reach into Golf

Having already partnered with the PGA of Canada, BetRegal announced on Tuesday that it is now the Official Betting Partner for the RBC PGA Scramble, an expanding team golf tournament.

BetRegal will engage with participants across more than 150 local qualifiers nationwide and at the National Final scheduled for October 1-5 at Cabot Cape Breton.
